Sightseeing in Budapest
During the sightseeing tour we intend to give a comprehensive overview of Budapest, its major sights as well as the history and culture of Hungary.
On our trip first we look at the town from above – the unparalleled beauty of the panoramic view from the Gellert Hill is also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The tour then continues to Pest through the Elisabeth bridge. After passing by the Market Hall, the National Museum and the Eastern Railway Station we stop at Heroes’ Square to visit the Millenium Memorial, one of the major sights of Budapest. The bus then circles around the City Park to show Restaurant Gundel, the most famous restaurant of Hungary, the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the Grand Circus, the Zoo, the Amusement Park and the picturesque Vajdahunyad Castle.

Our tour continues on the Andrássy Street (also under World Heritage protection), passing by beautiful mansions of one-time noble families, the imposing buildings of the old Music Academy and the Hungarian State Opera. Then, after passing by the Basilica and the Parliament in downtown we reach again the Danube which runs across the capital.

Across the river, on the Buda side the guests can get acquainted with the sights of the Castle District. In the historical District we walk along two significant symbols of Budapest, the neogothic Matthias Church and the seven-tower Fishermen’s Bastion, where the superb view on the Pest side and the Danube bridges can be enjoyed.
The sightseeing tour concludes here. Upon demand transfer back to the hotel is available.
The program described above takes about 2-3 hours. Since „there is always something happening” in Budapest, the exact itinerary above cannot be guaranteed at all times, since there may be various programs and road closures at times.
